Hot Diggity Dogs offers group Puppy Socialization and Manners classes as well as Basic Obedience, Rally O and Intermediate Fun and Games and Outdoor Ain’t Misbehavin’ classes. All group classes are held at Mr. Pets at the Tillicum Mall in Victoria, BC. We use positive based methods to help you teach your dog and give you a solid foundation in which to use.
Puppy Socialization and Manners classes run every Saturday from Noon -1 pm, and 1:15-2:15 pm. Puppies between 11 and 20 weeks, after second set of shots, are welcome. At these classes, we show you how to prevent and manage unwanted behaviour like mouthing and jumping up, polite greetings and teach basics like sit and heel and come are also taught. There is so much more that we talk about, like relationship with your dog and building confidence and trust.
For older puppies and most dogs we have group Basic Obedience classes or private one on one sessions in your home. We have an assortment of classes that can fit almost everyone’s needs. Once your pups have some foundation skills we offer Rally Obedience, Intermediate Fun and Games classes as well as our very popular out and about Ain’t Misbehavin’ classes. We also offer in home private sessions for working on behaviours specific to your needs.
No classes on major holiday weekends. To hold a space for any classes, we require a 50% deposit, refunds given one week in advance of start date. No refunds are given for missed classes.
Ain’t Misbehavin’ Out and About classes for street safety and recalls are running now. Basic Obedience classes are a prerequisite. Please check our calendar for dates.
In home privates can be scheduled most weekdays and some evenings, I don’t offer in home privates on weekends. At an in home, I come to you to help with specific unwanted behaviours.

Hot Diggity Dogs has been owned and operated since 1998 by Donna Hall. Donna is a charter member of The Pet Professional Guild, a force-free training association. Her popular classes have inspired a generation of pet owners and their dogs. Thanks to all her former Vancouver clients and their dogs – For those that knew her, my sweet girl Blossom left me on March 21st 2022. She was an amazing dog who was my helper in classes and my decoy dog for aggression cases. My shadow, my constant companion, always by my side. I miss her terribly but know that she helped so many and will live on in my heart forever.
