This is my beautiful black labrador retriever, Blossom. Pictured here she is only 7 weeks old, but today she is four years young! It's been a joy training and learning from her, and what I love most about my job is showing others how to have that close bond with their own dogs. Feel free to call me anytime with any questions, issues or goals you have!
Modern Dog Training Made Easy!
At Hot Diggity Dogs we host many positive method dog training classes. We provide a safe, clean, stress-free, fun environment for your dog.
No shock collars, choke chains or pinch collars EVER!!!
Our classes are located in beautiful Vancouver, BC.
Just Like People …
Just like people, dogs are a mixture of nature and nurture. The environment you create for your dog will shape its personality and behaviour. At Hot Diggity Dogs we offer private, in-home dog training sessions that are specific to you and your dog. We also offer group obedience classes in an environment that brings out the best in your dog.
No dog too big. No dog too small.
Dog obedience is part of everything that we do, whether you bring your dog to us for puppy socialization training classes or we come to you for behaviour modification, we treat the time your dog spend with us as an opportunity to teach good behaviour and help to correct problems.
There is no dog too big, no dog too small. We can help you train them all!
About Me
Features
Went to the 2011 Association of Pet Dog Trainers Conference in San Diego in October. I got a chance to meet my favorite(and many others favorite) dog trainer, behaviourist, breeder Suzanne Clothier. I also had a chance to speak with Dr. Sophia Yin, Nicole Wilde, Gail Fisher and Dr. Ian Dunbar, how fortunate I am. The high light for me was having dinner with Emily Larlham and Pamela Johnson, two of the best clicker trainers out there!
I have posted a segment on my site of when I was in The Discovery Channel's Animal Planet segment on 'Planet's Best Dog Friendly Destinations' in 2009.
Also in 2009 I was asked to write an article for Dogsport Magazine entitled "Putting a Positive Spin on Training".
November 2006 I had fun filming a piece for Shaw Cable called “In Your Shoes”, the host Erin comes to Hot Diggity Dogs Daycare and takes over walking some Hot Diggity Dogs in Pacific Spirit Park.
2003 was featured in ‘Dogs In Canada’ Magazine, talking about being the owner of a dog walking and training business in Canada.
